What is the Alma Shockwave Duo?
Alma Duo is a non-invasive treatment that uses shockwave or laser technology to assist in targeted pain reduction.
How Does it Work?
Low-intensity shock waves are applied to the treatment area to stimulate blood flow, break up plaque/other inflammatory defects, and form new blood vessels. A combination of CO2 and Er lasers can stimulate collagen production, improve blood flow, and increase tissue elasticity

Treatment Plan?
A consultation with a medical professional can help determine the best treatment plan. Treatment plans vary based on the number of sessions, treatment intervals, and maintenance protocol
Each "Treatment Session" includes up to 1500 pulses which are divided amongst the areas of treatment requested. On average this will allow for 3-5 treatment sites. If additional areas are requested those areas can be completed by using more then one session or by purchasing additional "pulses" at $100 per 300 pulses.
For Pain Management - this treatment can be completed up to three times a week - however often is not require that often and can be performed on an as needed basis.
Are there any Contraindications to treatment?
Any history of tumors/cancers within the treatment area, active/recent infection in the treatment area, steroid injections within 6 weeks prior to treatment, blood clotting disorder (including thrombosis), pacemaker/electrical implanted device, patients under the age of 18 yrs of age.
*****Patient treated with blood thinners, or who have a history of elevations in Partial Thromboplastin Time (PTT), prolonged bleeding time, or low platelet counts should ensure safety with a full providers appointment prior to treatment. *****
History of severe discomfort/pain at treatment sites during treatment or during previous treatment
